Amfitrite (Amphitrite) is the godess of the sea in the greek mythology.
Everyone who has started a company knows the mixed feeling of exitement and slight nervousness over embarqing on a new career journey. There are quite many unknowns. The first step is of course to find a suitable name that cannot be mixed-up with another company. It is not easy as many names are already taken so you need to be creative. In this creative phase I stumbled on Amfitrite. Probably due to my interest in the sea and all related activities.
And after considering the somewhat difficult spelling of the name ”Amfitrite”, I decided that having a godess with the ability to steer the waves to lean against when entering unknown waters wayed up.
